Characteristics:

Shape & Appearance: Rudraksha seeds are typically dark brown or blue-black and are usually found in the form of a bead. They can have various facets or "mukhis" (the number of ridges or lines on the surface). The most common types have 5 mukhis, but there are many others with 1 to 21 mukhis. Each type is said to have different energies and benefits.
